Residential Lobby in Need of Warmth

In this ground up, residential development in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, the existing amenity spaces were cold and underutilized. When Common Living was brought on to manage the building in 2016,  I was asked to dream up new solutions for the ground floor lobbies. I wanted to contrast the stone heavy space and bring warmth to the building. With layered textiles, worn leathers, and furniture pieces with deep silhouettes, I redesigned the space to encourage residents to relax, gather, and work from home.
